Here is what I came up with.
I didn't do a full-body sketch this time, because I was more concerned about the head design at this point.

A full sketch will follow soon, I still have a few things to solve here.

I am thinking about making the tentacles "shorter" when at rest, and they could extend forward when in action.

I am affraid that a pair of "wriggly appendages" isn't the best thing to "cut through" water...
